From a childhood bathed in the beauty of the Alta Rocca, where his Corsican origins are rooted, he has kept the memory of the mountains which plunge steeply into the sea and give rogue and chiseled from of nature.

Throughout his career in the aeronautical industry, he remained impassioned by an experience from is youth with "Les compagnons charpentiers" - an ancient association of fine craftsmen and builders the call of his first vocation. ​

In 2015 he changed his life and studied cabinet making at the Boulle school, then fine woodworking for chairs, a decisive step in the study of light structures.

For Olivier Marchetti, design not only consists of imagining conceptual solutions : it is the physical and loving confrontation with materials that allows him to create. His furniture, built in France using traditional methods with noble materials from local sources is made with simple tools a band saw, a plane, a rasp.

From this know-how, where excellence is the rule, Olivier Marchetti's furniture keeps its handmade stamp, which makes each piece original.
